Quiz

Mark 1

Mark 2

What are the nature of the marks highlighted by the red circles in the above two photoes respectively?

- Omen with Damien the Anti Christ?

- Mosquito bites during an election tour?

- Skin rashes after eating a bowl of GM rice?

- Love bites from a twitter-wise wife?

- Gunshot wounds before an election day?

- Marks caused by hammer strike before a book launch event?

Answer:

Mark 1: A gunshort wound on the tummy of former Taiwan 'president' Chen Shui-bian, inflicted by an known unknown source durng his election tour - many like to believe it's the result of his self-staged show.

Mark 2: Marks caused by hammer strike on GM food promoter Shi-min Fang, inflicted by an unknown known source prior to his book launch event - many like not to beleive it's not the result of his self-staged show.

The following are the comments from some of such guys pretending to be Sherlock Holmes who recklessly challenge Fang's version of the incident:

I'm fascinated with the photo image that shows the cuts on Fang's body.

I can see there are three marks, but if you want me to believe these are the wounds inflicted by a hammer, you would have to do more to convince me. The key factor is to determine which part of his body was hit first by the hammer. Can you tell that? I can't. If it was a wooden hammer, there would only be one spot to be hit; if it was a metal hammer, the two strike marks shouldn't be so close to each other. The only plausible possibility is that the alleged attacker armed with a mini-hammer.

If the two cuts were indeed caused by the strike of a mini-metal hammer, then how do you explain the mysterious third wound on the top?

As for the cut in the middle, it is the location that should be covered by a belt - know what I'm talking about?

Fang insists his attacker hurled the hammer at his waist and caused serious bleeding.

But according to what shows in the photo, the cuts can't be caused by anything falling on him from above. They were inflicted by a horizontal force. It seems to me Fang did bad job on faking his injuries than the former Taiwan 'president'.

Time to Learn Chinese Idioms:

苦肉计 (cool road chi) - A trick to win confidence by self-inflicting bodily harm.

贼喊做贼 (train hung true train) - A thief shouts "Stop, Thief!"

Deputy Sheriff of USA in China?

The following is the main point of an article penned by the chief Beijing correspondent for Morning News

There was a time when I began to wonder from where Fang got money to support himself and his family. Later Professor Xiao Chuanguo (肖传国教授) launched defamation case against Fang in a US court and asked his US lawyer to investigate Fang's website that is largely used to publically smear anyone and anything that Fang dislikes which include Chinese medicine, a sizable number of Chinese scientists and journalists. It was by then we learned that his website is not non-profit as he claimed. Fang received funds to run the site from an US anti-China foundation through an exiled Chinese political activist. The exposure of the true nature of his website makes me reconsider the accusations by some people in China that Fang's fraud exposure activities are not as simple as it looks. In fact, it's part of a big action designed by some forces behind to delay China's technology progress - a crucial drive in China's development.

Fang's fierce attack on Chinese medicine is especially outrageous. Just because a 4,000-year old system doesn't fit into that of the West with 400 years history, it would have no right to exist? His hatred for anything that is distinctively Chinese or anything that he cannot find its origin in the West is almost hysterical and rather psychotic. Many research projects were taken off under the heated public pressure stirred up by his rowdy and sensational journalism. Take Professor Zhang Yinqing This passionate and devoted scientist died of a broken heart after his project was forced to be abandoned. What China has become now! [Live under the mercy of American citizen!] If Professor Zhang's family decides to physically confront Fang, I would fully understand why they want to do so.

[Dr. Xiao Chuanguo is one of China's leading neural scientists who invented revolutionary Xiao Procedure but later his professional reputation was badly smeared by Shi-min Fang. The clinical trial on Xiao Procedure has eventually been successful while a law suit against Fang was filed in a US court. Fang however has failed to present himself before the court, yet his group has not stopped posting lies about Xiao’s work on English forums.]

Was Fang Attacked? (2)

Beijing is a modern metropolitan and you can find almost any tools that you can think of. For a stealth attack, the weapon must be easily carried around, such as a knife, a pistol, an electrical rod or a rubber band bow - plenty to choose from. But they chose spray and hammer, is that odd?

According to some experts in the field, the most likely scenario must be like this:

A young girl sprayed pepper water at Fang for self-defence.

A peasant worker with a hammer stroke at Fang - who would carry a hammer around in Beijing? Peasant workers.

As for why he was spread at by a girl and hit by a peasant worker with hammer, you may need to ask himself.

Normally in Beijing no one would chase and beat you unless you fail to pay your bill at a shop!!! LOL!

Was Fang Attacked? (1)

Shi-min Fang was born in China's southern province Fujian and trained in biology in the United States, but never really worked in the profession. Later he returned to China living a life as freelance writer, carrying an air that he came from the upper end of the world to enlighten Chinese on true civilization. He loves to be reckoned as a man of reason but deep down he is a fanatic extremist with a religious fever in science, and in GM food especially, and in anything West, for which he keeps attacking traditional Chinese culture for being unscientific.

Naturally, he is not a popular figure and many suspect he was sent to China by some special organizations, such as big bio-chemical multinationals or even CIA with a mission to do inside job in their covert war against Chinese interest.

Then we heard a claim from him that on Sunday afternoon he was attacked by two strangers with pepper water spray and hammer on Beijing street near his home. He was not really injured, but said he was bleeding badly (from hammer strike!!!)

He has won sympathy from mainstream media but still many people in the community are sceptical, since his claim is not all convincing and his past record on his personal credibility is rather questionable.

Naked People in China

3, Naked intellectuals who import political and cultural values from the West, and pack them as cutting-age new ideas to wholesale to Chinese with the purpose to turn China into the puppet state of the West.

What's Behind GM Food?

America has placed restrictions on high-tech imports to China, why on earth they become so generous when it comes to GM crops, offering tech support and fund? What are their real motives behind?

A Wudang Kungfu Master

Daoist Do Nothing began to actively do his kungfu training since 15 and proactively do his Daoist cultivating at the age of 17 when he was ordained by the legendary Daoist Liu Chengjia (长为师), who is said to possess kind of surper-human qualities, and becomes the 25th inheritor of the Dragon Gate sector (龙门派).

Chinese on China Reform

Why our book stores, tv screens and stages are full of stuffs with bad taste? It's because the reform is solely GDP-driven, and cares little about social responsibilities.

Shaolin vs Wudang

Last week, Shaolin monks from Henan Provence and Wudang Daoists from Hubei Province met in Shanghai World Expo and performed Legend of Shaolin Kungfu Monks and Myth of Wudang Daoist Taichi respectively. What a feat!

Shaolin Wisdom

“But can you eat silver or gold when food crisis occurs?” the abbot asked back.

Three Teachings

If our lives are dreams, one after another, one contains many and one connects to countless, Confucius coaches us how to manage our current dream, Daoism trains us how to make our next dream a better one, while Buddhism teaches us how to wake up from the dream and remain totally lucid when re-enter dreams.

China's Right Wing

A chief editor of South Weekly (《南x周末》) once famously said: "If you let me choose between die from hunger and live as a slave of foreign power, I choose the latter.”

Corrupt Intellectuals

It’s pretty easy to bribe Chinese interllectuals, with simple measures like helping them to get their articles to be published on a prestigious overseas magazine, either in their real name or using a pseudonym.

Borrow the East Wind

When Cao Cao sent his mighty navy to attack Wu Kingdom, Zhuge Liang realised he must come up with some real life action.

Root of Vegetable (5-9)
