It is not just Chinese people who paid tribute to Chairman
Mao on his birthday anniversary, the people in the
Third World nations also cherish the memory of the man who
campaigned for liberation of all exploited and suppressed
in the world.
On December 25, 2012, when Algerians celebrated their 50
years of independence from French
colonization, a special prize was awarded to Chairman
Mao Zedong and Premier
Zhou Enlai for their strong support given to the nation's
Chairman Mao's daughter Li Min received the honour on her
late father's behalf.
Premier Zhou Enlai's niece Zhou Binde received the honour
on her late uncle's behalf.
Yet the honour of the nation seems to be a pain in the ass
Jiabao and his State
Council, as the result the news was only formally released
by the state television station near midnight when most people
already went to bed.
