Music for Painting: River of Spring in the Great Song Capital

The animated images were crafted according to one of China's 10 greatest masterpieces The River of Qingming (清明上河图), created during the Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127) by Zhang Zeduan (张择端). The original painting was done on silk and measures 5.28m long in size. It is a marvellous example of what a visual feast an artist can produce with China's unique multiple point perspective drawing technique.
