That's not Egypt,

That's not Greece,
That's USA, welcome to the "freedom"
Iraq Veterans Against the War (ivaw.org) is advocacy group of veterans and
active-duty US military personnel who have served in the
U.S. Military since September 11, 2001. Currently IVAW has
over 1,400 members in fifty states, as well as in Canada,
Europe, Iraq and Afghanistan. The following is IVAW's statement
regarding the police attack of its member:
Late last night, Scott
Olsen, a former Marine, two-time Iraq war veteran, and
member of Iraq Veterans Against the War, sustained a
skull fracture after being shot in the head with a police
projectile while peacefully participating in an Occupy
Oakland march. He remains unconscious in critical condition
at Oakland's Highland Hospital.
Olsen was hit at close range. After
demonstrators rush to Olsen's aid, an Oakland cop waits
a few beats before lobbing a second tear-gas canister
at the crowd. They are attending to Olsen when the canister
explodes, sending smoke everywhere.
Olsen is one of an increasing number
of war veterans who are participating in America’s growing
Occupy movement. “Scott was marching with the 99% because
he felt corporations and banks had too much control over
our government, and that they weren’t being held accountable
for their role in the economic downturn, which caused
so many people to lose their jobs and their homes,” Said
Keith Shannon, who deployed with Scott to Iraq.

they will call "The Occupy Movement"
protesters here terrorists, thugs, and mobs. But the same people
in the OIL countries are heralded as Freedom fighters. Just
saw this morning a vid with that slimey, S.C. senator Lindsey
Graham, gleefully commenting on Gaddaffi's murder saying " There's
a lot of money to be made and oil to pump", what a disgusting
person. That is the only reason we are there, OIL, OIL, OIL
It's a joke. The establishment encourages the middle eastern
uprisings so they can put in their puppet democracies while
they suppress uprisings at home because they already own the
government. They gotta maintain the status quo in the west.
Agreed. Except for the part where you said the US puts up puppet
democracies. I don't know of a single middle eastern country
that even resembles a democracy after 1 year of the "US
selected ruler" has been in power. It always spirals down
into a dictatorship, where the leader is dictated to by the US,
who interns oppresses and dictates over the people.
You're probably right but I get the feeling they really do want
democracies because since politicians can be so easily bought
they're a lot easier to control and with the facade of freedom
the the public stay apathetic.
