Sow's Weekly

Portrait of a modern hanbaoyi: Sow's Weekly

Sow's Weekly's declaration:

The following are some online comments by Chinese about a bunch of new Hanbaoyis (汉包衣), the editors and contributors of Sow's Weekly based in Guangdong Province:

wyzxsx.com:

When Xinhua Newsagency left a large portion of blank space on newspaper in protest of the detention of General Ye, it was a blockbuster, because the Nationalist Government arrested anti-Japanese hero at the time China was facing life and death.

When Sow’s Weekly left a large portion of blank space on magazin in protest of the censorship by the government of their interview with American President Obama, it becomes a comedy, because the full text it published is exactly the same to the one published in full by the White House.

I’m waiting for the third run of the drama … will it descends to a tragedy?

bbs.wforum.com/wmf:

fantai:

Is Sow’s Weekly America’s pet dog? It would bark at whoever when ordered by its master ! Wonder how much they are paid for.

They may not necessarily be paid for. Ever heard the stories about whores? When they are really obsessed with you, they would pay you instead.

apidan:

A decent human being must not behave like Sow's Weekly!

sam712:

The SW wished to show their face, but ends up showing their bum.
