Farewell to A Legend

November 1, the next day of Qian Xuesen's pass away, the sky over Beijing opened, an unseasonal heavy snow covers the land of Chinese capital in innocent white, a colour in Chinese culture associated with mourning.

A rock formation in Pingshun (平顺), Shanxi Province (山西), looks like a pair of lovers in eternal kissing posture, as if immortalising a great love story between Dr. Qian and his wife Ms Jiang Ying.

A newly built and the most magnificent Yangtze River bridge in Shanghai, where Qian Xuesen studied during his college years. Dr. Qian is like a great bridge linking the gulf between the traditional East and the modern West.
